Summary
There were fresh gunshots still left on the walls like a reminder. He averted his eyes.
The world felt hollow. Distant.
He tried not to think about Jung-bae. About his voice. About his hand on Dae-ho’s shoulder just that morning, steady and warm.
“You're braver than you think.”
He wasn’t.
He passed a trail of bloody footprints, one of them smeared sideways like someone had been dragged. He kept walking.
His chest felt too tight. Like he couldn’t get enough air.
And then he saw the door to the bathroom.
It was cracked open, light spilling out in a narrow beam across the floor.
Dae-ho reached for the handle and slipped inside.
The fluorescent lights buzzed faintly overhead. The sinks were cracked, one or two running with a slow, steady drip. The mirrors were smeared with grime and handprints, most of them too low to belong to anyone still standing.
He just wanted to sit. To breathe. To be invisible, even if only for a minute.
But when he stepped around the corner, toward the back sinks, he froze.
There was someone already there.
or
What if Dae-ho wasn't totally alone after the riot?

Tsukasa’s scared of thunder. Huh. Interesting?
Nene almost wanted to laugh. It was silly to think, actually. How someone loud as himself is terrified of something equally as bold.
On paper, it was funny.Nene looked at the curled up figure of her usually bright and proud troupe leader, who looked so unbelievably small.
There was no humour to this at all.

Summary
"My money's on Dog Boy."
"Oh? That's a strange thing to say... You know how rare it is for him to survive, right? Chidouin's going to win. Again."
"He's steering mostly clear of her, this time around. I've got a gut feeling."
"Are you sure it's not a stomachache, Tiny?"
"You're just pissed I'm gonna be taking your money after this."
"Heeheehee... The boy's at zero point nine eight percent, remember? He's not winning. The only ones that'd be even stupider to bet on would be the replacement or the neutered girl."
"... We'll just have to see."

Gin Ibushi doesn't really understand what's going on. When he woke up on the floor of a dark, scary room with a robot telling him about a 'First Trial,' he didn't really know what to think. Regardless, he scrapes out of the room without a scratch, hoping that he could just go home and see his mother again.
Instead, he's greeted by nine strangers, each one weirder than the last. At least Mew-chan's here, too...
