Peter’s really good at a lot of things, at least he’d like to think so. He had to learn to keep himself occupied before the bite when asthma and clunky glasses kept him away from sports.

Now that he’s enhanced, nobody really seems to guess that.

    ——
Or! Five times people find things Peter’s good at, and one time they find something he’s really bad at.

    Summary

Tony knew a thing or two about Peter Parker. He knew the kid liked chemistry more than math classes but enjoyed physics problems more than balancing chemical equations. He knew he liked to get a sandwich before patrolling after school. He knew he liked to walk on the side of the sidewalk closest to the street when walking with anyone. He knew he liked pineapple on pizza but hated when people added sun dried tomatoes. Mainly, Tony knew Peter Parker never stopped talking.

Tony first noticed it when he recruited the teen in his living room, making the kid stumble over his unending stream of words. He noticed it again when Peter started coming to the lab after school, whispering equations and theories to himself until the older man told him to speak up. He saw it in fights, when Spider-Man’s quips were almost as much of a defense as the suit Tony designed to keep the teen safe.

Tony held this truth to be absolute - if Peter Parker was talking, he was ok.

So why hadn’t Peter said a word?

Or: Peter won't use his words and gives tony a heart attack for 2k words

    Nesting -
The instinct of an animal (spiders included, apparently) to build a nest (or any other kind of home) in a place where they feel safe and are surrounded by their family.

Peter Parker is more like a spider than others think.
How Tony and the Avengers find out.

(Yes I know I almost entirely made up the biology and psychology here, but go with it pls cause I think it's cute)
