“Eddie, come on, then we can make a regular schedule for practising! Just set the timer, kiss for 10 seconds, and move on. It makes sense, right? The more we do it, the more comfortable we’ll be.”
Eddie held his hands up, admitting defeat. He pulled his phone out of his pocket and clicked on the clock app, setting up a timer for 10 seconds.
“Alright, Buckley—“ He held up the phone to show Buck the timer. “—whenever you’re ready. Try not to go all Statue of Liberty on me this time.”
OR; Buck and Eddie have to convince Buck's parents that they're in love. It doesn't take much.

Tommy breaks up with Buck and he is officially over the baking stage, so he is now back on his Buck 1.0 path, except every time he gets drunk he ends up at Eddie’s front door.
Eddie is just trying to find ways to feel normal about Christopher being in Texas. When Buck keeps showing up to his door it makes a great distraction except for the fact that it is drudging up all kinds of unwanted feelings

“Ilya Rozanov,” Shane repeats slowly, letting himself taste the words. He grins. “Wow. You’re, like, a really good player. How come you’re in Canada for summer camp? Is that weird to ask? Sorry if that’s weird. I just meant-”
Shane is cut off by a hand on his mouth. He flushes.
“Too fast,” Ilya says. “My English… not good.”
“Sorry,” Shane mumbles into Ilya’s hand. Ilya grins and shakes his head, curls dancing, as he pulls his hand away.
“Is okay. Slow words. Okay?”
This year marks thirteen year Shane Hollander's third summer at Coach Marakov's elite hockey training camp. In attendance for the first time: Ilya Rozanov, visiting from Russia. Shane isn't the most sociable, and Ilya's English isn't the greatest, yet the unlikely duo soon become the best of friends.
It's just one summer, but it makes a world of difference.
