Summary
Dean knew it was his own fault that his alpha's treated him terribly. It had to be his own fault. Both of his alpha's were his own flesh and blood, and neither one had treated him right in the end. So despite all the physical ailments of not having an alpha bond, he refused to enter another alpha bond. His Alpha Rejection Syndrome (ARS) was getting worse, but it wasn't worth the risk.

Summary
Castiel is dead. Dean knows it, he has seen him be stabbed right in front of his eyes, has felt his grace slowly bleed out, had touched the cold body after.
And now he has to watch him burn, disolve into nothingness in front of his eyes.
There's a heavy weight in his chest and a heavier one in his arms. The first is grief, the second is the baby that Cas choose to die for. (Dean hates Jack for it.) But now, this tiny baby who will one day be the most powerful being in the universe is the only thing he has left of Castiel.
How does one go about it, how does one raise the child that killed the person most important for you?

Summary
Dean didn't know what he was expecting when he finally went to college, but he definitely wasn't expecting his roommate to be- well, like he is. Castiel is weird, funny, and kind of dorky. He's also a creature, though Dean doesn't know what, and the longer they spend sharing a room the stranger Cas' behaviour gets.
He's completely normal around everyone else, but Dean seems to be his exception.
What is Cas? And why does he seem to care about Dean so much?
