Summary
Edmundo "Eddie" Diaz had yet to carve out a reputation in the NHL as a Third-Line Center for the Dallas Stars, but this season was different. As he approached the milestone of a possible 20-goal season, and several star players on the roster were sidelined due to various injuries, the coaching staff chose Eddie to wear the iconic Victory Green of the Stars for this year's All-Star Game.
Evan “Buck” Buckley, a star of the Los Angeles Kings, his image as a golden boy often shone brightly, but it was clouded recently by the lingering controversy stemming from his off-ice antics; clumsy mistakes had thrust him into the spotlight for all the wrong reasons. Now, as he prepared for the upcoming festivities of the All-Star Game, his Captain, Howard “Chimney” Han—who also happened to be his line partner and brother-in-law—had been entrusted to be his chaperone; this came with the privilege of sleeping in the room adjacent to his, the two spaces connected by a door.
It’s uncertain what the future has in store for Buck and Eddie. Whether it involves personal growth or overcoming obstacles, only time will tell.

Summary
Buck keeps him everywhere. He’s smuggling him into every inch left vacant, because like this, he doesn’t lose him, won’t lose him. Like this, he gets to keep Eddie forever, even if it’s just the pieces and the memories attached. The reminder of him will haunt him and this apartment like a ghost. Because Buck can’t trap him in his apartment and force him to stay, he’d never ask that, couldn’t ask that, but he’s going to damn well do his best to salvage it in some form. He’s kidnapping Eddie’s shadow, no matter how much it hurts, and there’s no choice about it.
Eddie announces he’s leaving. Buck, naturally, begins a slow descent to madness.

Summary
Tommy breaks up with Buck and he is officially over the baking stage, so he is now back on his Buck 1.0 path, except every time he gets drunk he ends up at Eddie’s front door.
Eddie is just trying to find ways to feel normal about Christopher being in Texas. When Buck keeps showing up to his door it makes a great distraction except for the fact that it is drudging up all kinds of unwanted feelings

Summary
Missing Chris is less of an emotion these days and more of a physical entity. He’s sure everyone can see that he’s slowly hollowing himself out, that he can’t do much of anything else.
But when Jee laughs at him trying to get his tongue to touch his nose, and Mara loops one of her arms through his to keep him from tossing the rest of his cup in the garbage, Eddie feels solid again.
Maybe he likes yellow birthday cake ice cream after all.
(or, gerrard messes with the team's schedules and eddie 'i just drove my son to flee the state' diaz is the only option to watch mara and jee-yun after school on tuesdays, which, shouldn't be a problem at all, right?)
