Bookmarked by julaften15 Sep 2025 Bookmarker's NotesOops! I Joined The Good Guys is a humorous take on the horcrux hunt, where Draco has to fake his death to avoid being killed by Voldemort after his failure to kill Dumbledore. He is brought to Harry, Hermione and Ron who reluctantly let him follow them on the horcrux hunt. Lucius, Narcissa and Rodolphus Lestrange (!) have also turned sides and work together with Snape, the trio+Draco and Phineas Nigellus Black (!) to bring down Voldemort and Rodolphus’ rather estranged wife. The story diverges quite a bit from the books and does not follow much of the stations of canon. There is (sexual) humor throughout, some smut, and even Draco in the muggle world (discovering the concept of sex shops). Recommended if you want a fun, easy read, not too serious but still serious enough to have a good plot. This art by Silver_Snidget should give you an idea of the tone of the story. 😂

TagsSummary'We are all broken. That's how the light gets in.'
When Hermione and Draco return to Hogwarts for their eighth year, they’re both broken and both changed in irrevocable, albeit different, ways. But when the school’s new mind healer implements an innovative new treatment, it ignites the possibility that, maybe, Hermione and Draco can help each other piece together the scattered fragments of themselves that the war has left behind.

Bookmarked by julaften22 Aug 2025 Bookmarker's NotesJust finished Atonement by Lunamionny. This is an 8th year story where Hermione, Draco, and others suffer from the effects of the recent war. And so Hogwart's new mind healer pairs up her patients and gives them tasks to complete together. It's is a relatively traditional 8th year story, but there's a little more focus on the healing of trauma, panic attacks, dissociation, and so on. Some of it actually based on real treatments. There's a nice mix of angst and fluff, with a little smut here and there.

Bookmarked by julaften02 Aug 2025 Bookmarker's Tags:Bookmarker's NotesJust finished Amor Vincit Omnia, which despite featuring heavily the ugly theme of infidelity (as well as Ron- and Weasley-bashing), is a very great story about how love really does conquers everything.

TagsSummary“Do you remember when I told the minister that the Time Turner isn’t a weapon?” “Yes.” “I was wrong. It is a weapon. In the wrong hands, it could—it could destroy everything.” It’s been twelve years since the war ended. Ten years since Draco Malfoy was forced from the depths of his depression by a mother and friends who refused to let him die in peace. Six years since he became an Auror for all the wrong reasons. And for the next month, he's been assigned to protect Hermione Granger as she completes her latest invention: a new type of time travel. You can’t change what happened, she told him. There could be catastrophic effects, cascading like ripples in a pond. So when they find themselves at the centre of a dark conspiracy that leaves them trapped in a past he’s been running from his whole life, they need to find a way home without unravelling their future. - Language:

Bookmarked by julaften01 Jun 2025 Bookmarker's Tags:Bookmarker's NotesJust finished Things Without Remedy, which is a time-travel story, but not a ‘fix-it’. The opening of the story has a certain DMATMOOBIL-ish vibe, with an alive Tonks, auror Draco and Hermione working on a secret project requiring auror protection. There is gentle humor throughout the story, but there is also a bit more angst, as Draco does not feel he deserves to be part of society, and especially not Hermione’s circles. The time travel is quite consistent; both internally in the story and with regard to canon. It’s a nice story to read if you like the action, adventures, humor and romance of DMATMOBIL combined with a less self-assured Draco and time-travel complications.
