Charles works at a charming bookshop in Paris's Latin Quarter. Max is gorgeous, keeps coming into the shop, and appears to be an absolute idiot.
"Do you have books here?" Max asks, in a bookshop.
Charles is suffering. Because why would anyone that attractive think books have words in them? Why would someone that beautiful ask if The Stranger is about making friends? And why, why, would Max ask Charles on a date to organize his sock drawer?
The truth? Max is actually a brilliant aerospace engineer. He just becomes catastrophically stupid around people he's attracted to. The more he tries to impress Charles, the worse it gets.
Inspired by Sabrina Carpenter's "Manchild" – because sometimes the heart wants what it wants, even when what it wants can't string sentences together.

Formula One Ferrari Driver Charles Leclerc went out clubbing after getting pole in the Monaco Grand Prix. Lavish Nights is one of the most elite night clubs in Monaco. No photos, no videos- just iconic music and most importantly… privacy.
There he mets Max Verstappen, a very handsome and a bit older man. They instantly hit it off and they spend the whole night together, drinking, talking. They were all over each other. Though their night ends there, it wasn’t before a promise was made to see each other again soon.
Imagine Max’s surprise when he attended the Grand Prix of Monaco and saw Charles in red walking in as the reigning champion.

It was towards the end of the season, and Max wasn't home.
Last year, Max had spent the entire weekend break on the simulator in their apartment, eyes locked on the same track, going around and around and around in dizzying spirals.
