For some reason, Twitter opens to the For You tab right away – George tends to stay on his Following tab, only because it’s filled with people he knows instead of with suggested tweets that the algorithm thinks he’ll like. He pulls down from the top, refreshing the page – and there it is.
George watches, staring down open-mouthed at his phone as Dream wraps his arms around Sam, smiles slyly like he’s got some big idea, then turns and plants a big kiss on Sam’s cheek. The replies to the tweet say that Sam is blushing, blushing brighter than the bell pepper that he’s holding, the vegetable long since forgotten the instant that Dream’s lips touched his cheek.
or: that time when George went to the Bahamas, Dream kissed Sam Awesamdude, and George got very, very jealous.

“I— I’m sorry.” Dream attempts to assure George that it’s fine, that he doesn’t care before he just keeps talking. “I used to get nightmares almost every night before Florida here, I didn’t think they would return if I did.”
Dream is shocked by the hidden admission given so willingly. “Almost every night?”
“Yeah, if we sleep-called then it like— made it go away? I would take the tube here when it was really bad and my Mum would comfort me until I basically passed out from exhaustion.” George laughs like he’s telling a joke, Dream is horrified.
“Oh my god, why didn’t you tell me? If you asked, I would’ve called every night!” He whisper-shouts, his hands start to tremble from the overwhelming sense that he’s failed George somehow.
He just shrugs. “I didn’t think it was that big of a deal. Just something temporary that would go away.”

Sapnap was an idiot.
He thought it was a great idea for them to get on a flight at nearly 10 p.m. when he very clearly knew that was George’s lunch time. How dare he. George had made sure everyone in the house was aware of his immense annoyance with the world. First it was Sapnap being Sapnap, then Mcdonald’s was apparently out of chicken nuggets and most importantly, Dream.
