Summary
Eddie’s massage therapist is Briana.
He confirmed this six times: twice on the website, once during a phone call he made from his truck in the grocery store parking lot like it was a covert operation, three more times in the confirmation email.
"Eddie?"
He looks up.
That is not Briana.
The guy standing in the hallway entrance is tall and built like someone whose job description wildly undersold the physical reality. There's a birthmark above his eye that shouldn't work but does, way too much, and his scrubs fit him well. They — okay. They fit him obscenely well, actually.
His arms. God, his arms. They're just arms. Everyone has arms.
Eddie is suddenly, involuntarily, thinking about what it would feel like to have those arms braced on either side of him. Or around him. Or holding him down.
Which is not a thought he's ever had about a man's arms before. He's pretty sure. He's almost sure. He's going to move on from this.
He is going to stop looking at the arms.
Any second now.
Or,
It's just a massage. Eddie can survive that. Right?Bookmarked by justbuddieX

Summary
“Were you really worried?” asks Eddie. Buck’s brow furrows, confused. “About, you know—what you said. That your looks wouldn’t cut it. Because that’s…”
Buck’s head tilts on its axis, in a manner that would be almost harrowing if it weren’t his familiar, ludicrously handsome face. “That’s what?”
“Stupid,” Eddie blurts out. Shakes his head. Rectifies. “Not—you’re not stupid. Not at all. I just mean that… obviously, someone should want you for all of you.” Eddie thinks that should really go without saying. “But even without all the addendums. You’re, like, a total smokeshow, man.”
Good God. That’s fucking embarrassing. Even worse—or perhaps better, Eddie is so ruined—Buck beams.
"Total smokeshow?” Buck repeats, nothing short of delighted. On topic, Eddie really could go for a smoke bomb right about now. Just—pull the pin and flee.

Summary
Eddie’s phone rings from the bedside table. He reaches for it.
“There’s a hot guy in my bed,” Buck breathes the second he answers. “And I - - am freaking out.”
Or, Eddie’s last heterosexual thread snaps in a motel room. Buck needs to phone a friend about it.

Summary
The motel with only one bed, apparently.
“I’m sorry, what?” Eddie asks, blinking to make sure he’s heard him correctly. “There must’ve been a mixup. I’m sure our captain asked for two?”
“Howard Han, right? LA?” The guy at the office asks. David, his name tag reads.
“Yes,” Buck says, sounding strained.
“Nope—one bed. He specifically said one bed.” David blinks at them.
“I’m going to kill him,” Buck mutters.
— buck and eddie go on a roadtrip.
