The dh'oine had come scared - grimly determined no doubt, but Iorveth could see through that hardened exterior he'd chipped away at for years. And before the others could take their frustrations out on him, he'd grabbed Vernon's arm and claimed him for himself.[M] Chapter 2: The First Day
“Just… I’m here if you need me,” Iorveth tried again before leaving the room and shutting the door behind him. The intoxicating scent leached from under the gap, but at least it was somewhat contained now.He could do this.

3 Oct 2022: Hi, after giving this some thought I decided I would close off this fic and call it done and dusted. My health hasn't been good and I'm struggling to write.
