Summary
When nothing is forthcoming, Quincy asks, "How long have you been on suppressants, Sun Lord Dante?" He's losing his patience and it sours the air between them, but he doesn't care to beat around the bush right now. Not when—if he's guessing right—the situation might be worse than Quincy had anticipated. "When was your last rut?"
"What right do you have to know?" Dante grumbles, the barest vibration building at the back of his throat. His eyes dart away, like he knows he's being disobedient to an older, dominant alpha, but he can't help it and he won't back down.
Quincy's voice comes out in half a snarl as he ducks back into Dante's space, nostrils flaring as he takes in a deep breath against Dante's neck. "Because, you smell like you haven't had one in a long time. I know what that's like, and it's nothing good."

Dante has his first rut in a long time. Quincy tides him over, until reinforcements arrive.
