Childe’s head spun as he registered the words in his brain. “You’re gay?”
Silence. There were the brief sounds of microphone static as he waited for Scaramouche to speak. “Don’t tell me you’re fucking homophobic, or some shit.”
“No, no– fuck,” Childe collected himself. “I like guys too. I mean, shit, I’m playing Roblox right now, man, isn’t it obvious?”
Scaramouche laughed lightly, and Childe felt immediately better after hearing the noise. “True.”

“Why exactly are you picking fights with a stranger?” Childe asks, watching his friend incredulously as he writes something on a purple sticky note. He continues, “and in the public board, of all places.”
Scaramouche rolls his eyes at him. “I am not picking fights with whoever this is.” He puts the cap back on his pen before tossing it to Childe, who manages to catch it somehow. “Plus, you’re the one who suggested that I write on this board. I am simply doing it.” He gives him a sickeningly sweet smile.
“You make me sick,” Childe groans. “I said you could rant on this board with your hideous handwriting instead of going on a punching spree, I still feel bad for your bathroom walls by the way, not annoy a stranger and pick fights with them.”
Scaramouche shrugs. Childe tries to calm himself.
