    腐男子 （ふだんし, “fudanshi”）— noun.

    Literally “rotten/corrupted boy”. Derived from its feminine counterpart, 腐女子　（ふ女子, “fujoshi”), and used in a similar manner to be a generally derogatory way to refer to male fans of the Yaoi/Boy’s Love (BL)/Shounen Ai genre. Though some fudanshi may be homosexual themselves, not all are. Some fans use this term for themselves as a sort of reclamation.
