Shoto hummed contentedly, wrapping his arms around Katsuki as their legs tangled together. “Do you know for sure that he’s cheating on you again, or is it just your assumption? Because I’d feel bad if he wasn’t actually doing anything wrong.”
Katsuki laughed bitterly, tracing his fingers over Shoto’s thigh. “He’s acting the same as last time. I don’t need proof when my gut is telling me it’s true. And my gut is never fucking wrong, by the way. It’s basically a curse.”

Katsuki paused for a moment, as if he was unsure of what to say. Or how much to say. “That you’re trouble.”

Summary
Izuku suddenly felt nervous, sitting so close to Katsuki like this. He couldn’t help but steal glances at him as he drove through the city, and he managed to fall for him even more in that moment.
Izuku realised then just how difficult their friendship was going to be, because it was always going to be tainted by Izuku’s true feelings, it was always going to feel like this.
He kept stealing glances at Katsuki, and Katsuki kept driving without much thought as to where they were going. Izuku didn’t mind, though. He could end up anywhere in the world and be content, as long as he was with Katsuki, in this painfully beautiful moment with him.

Bakugo Katsuki is everything Izuku isn’t: popular, a star baseball player, unfairly attractive. It drives Izuku completely insane, because he’s been crushing on him for a while now, but he’s almost certain that Katsuki’s straight, so he’ll have to settle for a very painful friendship instead.

Dabi squinted his eyes, the cigarette hanging loosely from his lips. “You’re looking way too deep into this. I could fuck you and not feel a damn thing.”

Satoru widened his eyes, the blurred lines between fantasy and reality finally becoming clear to him. He forced down the bile in his throat, his trembling hands pushing through his hair. "What are you trying to say?” he choked out.
Megumi frowned, more hurt by the situation than he wanted to admit. "You know what I'm saying. You’ve known for a while, haven't you? You just didn't want to see it."
Satoru gnawed on the inside of his cheek, watching as Megumi took a shaky breath. "This whole time, you've been kissing ghosts."

Summary
“Why are you helping me move on from Kacchan?” Izuku questioned, hesitatingly placing a pair of Katsuki’s joggers onto the pile. Shoto shuffled awkwardly, scratching the back of his neck.
“I’ll tell you another time. When I’ve accepted it, and when you’re ready to hear it,” Shoto breathed out, relieved by the confusion that travelled across Izuku’s forest-like eyes.
In that moment, Shoto was glad that his crush was utterly oblivious, otherwise he feared it would ruin everything. The trust he built would tumble down, leaving them both alone again.
Izuku ripped each plaster off, tore away each bandage, with more determination than he ever thought was possible. Perhaps it was knowing that Shoto could re-plaster the wounds if they bled that pushed Izuku forwards. He was walking away from Katsuki’s heart and towards his own.
