Reiner rolled his eyes at Bert’s confused expression and handed the tall lengthier man a sword since Bert decided not to bring his own. He grasped the metal sword, putting his thumb cautiously on the blade, checking its sharpness. Bert only added light pressure yet a little droplet of blood was already forming on his thumb. Just as quickly as it appeared, it went away, disappearing into steam. He didn’t think this was safe, especially if Reiner was planning something risky.
What was Reiner even planning to do with these? They could easily transform by accident if they aren’t careful.
He looked up at Reiner.
“What do we do with these blades?”
