In a world looming with war, and Elizabeth has to pick a side. Will she choose her blood, her hope and her obligations. Or her chosen brothers and sisters in Gryffindor.

Yes, she is close with the Marauders. Yes, she claims to be the blood purists' double agent. However, she can only keep all of that up for so long. This is a story of family lost and found, centered on siblings by blood and circumstance, and filled with graves, metaphorical and literal.
This story is by katyvsouran and all content is from "Cursed Child Years 1-4 | Marauders Era". This is a heavily edited version meant to read cleaner with accurate grammar and spellings as well as more even chapter lengths, made with her permission. Due to mental health reasons and entering intensive mental health care, it was put on hiatus. Now that I finally have access to AO3 again, I am updating this work to finish year one and state it is ending there. I did not go through everything, so some tags may still reflect later events. Now on the ground, Regulus’ head was spinning even faster than it had when he had fallen. All he was aware of was that he wasn’t dead and that the person who had saved him was gripping him very hard, like he was afraid to let him go. “Regulus. What the fuck?” Even if they had already landed on solid ground, James didn’t let go of Regulus. In fact it felt like he was gripping him even harder.
“Potter, let go of me.” Regulus knew that James was strong— knew he was way stronger than him— still, it surprised him when he didn’t soften his grip even when he started kicking and punching him.
“Not until you tell me what the fuck you were doing up there in this weather.”
“I was training, you fucking idiot.”
“That’s not true and you know that,” James held him even tighter. "And don’t say it was just an accident, Regulus. You must have known that it wasn’t safe to fly in this weather, any sane person would have turned back to the castle.”
“Well, you were also on a broom if I remember correctly,” Regulus hissed.
James' fists grabbed Regulus’ shirt with more force and stopped letting Regulus hit him. “Because I was saving your fucking life, you twat.”
“I DIDN’T WANT YOU TO DO THAT.”

Remus didn’t come back to Hogwarts this year.
No, this couldn’t be Remus.
Sure, the Remus Sirius knew was a little shy, but certainly not like this. His tall, freckled friend had closed in on himself, shutting out everyone around him and barely speaking unless it was to answer the register or to mumble a quiet goodnight before bed. There were no sarcastic comments, no exasperated yet fond complaints about the other boys’ antics, no gossiping with the girls or happily helping with people’s homework no matter how tired he was. This Remus seemed to shrink, no matter how much space there was, as if he didn’t want to be there at all. It was extremely awkward and unnatural for someone like him to try and hide away. He could never hide from Sirius.
