Summary
One could even say that if Tom had a nickel for every time he’s shot a tranquilizer dart at a space hedgehog that snuck into his garage, Tom would have two nickels, which isn't a lot! But it's weird that it happened twice.
Shadow might have survived being atomized by the Eclipse Cannon's explosion, but that doesn't mean he got off scot-free.

Summary
“Sakura,” That was the first thing his older cousin ever said to him. "Run."
The words were imbued with the incantation of their family’s spell, woven onto their matching tongues. It was a curse that would stay with him forever.
(Sakura Haruka is not an Inumaki anymore, but he can't help but remember each time he looks into the mirror. How could he even try to forget, when the reminder is carved onto his face, like a muzzle he can never remove?)
