Summary
Kamran bursts into a fit of laughter so sudden that Kamala jerks, the front wheel of her bike tipping dangerously to the side, wobbling, before she rights herself.
“Why are you laughing?” Kamala asks, furrowing her brow and frowning down at the screen. “Do you think this is funny?”
“I think that Bruno is finding an excuse for his anger and his behaviour that doesn’t involve him spouting out his jealousy,” Kamran says, “I think he’s very much jealous, but that he wants you to be happy, so he isn’t saying anything that could ruin your happiness.”
“But I would be happy if he told me he was jealous, though!” Kamala argues, deciding at the last second to turn left instead of right, making her trip home just that little bit longer. She does not want to have to cut her conversation with Kamran short.
“Yeah, but he isn’t aware of that,” Kamran says. “To me, the solution is clear: we keep this up until Bruno either admits it, or until you are certain that there isn’t the faintest chance of him having feelings for you.”

Kamala knew that nothing about her situation was normal. But after what she assumed to be a week, all of this was starting to feel real.

“Kamala isn't- she isn't coming back.” Nakia slowly said.
“I refuse to believe that Kamala is gone.” He declared.
They just had to search harder for Kamala, because Kamala's story couldn't end so early, and certainly not so quick. Not when his still continued. Bruno had to do something very important now. He was going to find Kamala, and he was going to bring her back.

Kamala is in trouble which doesn't seem to end and Bruno just wants his best friend back.

Summary
She is really, really tired and feels like she’s going to fall asleep any second now.
Just when she’s drifting off, barely even aware of her surroundings anymore as one of her favourite movies becomes little more than background noise, she feels a hand gently push strands of her dark hair behind her ear.
It doesn’t register to Kamala immediately who it is, but the touch lingers and she realizes it’s Bruno.
After pushing the stray hairs out of her face and tucking them behind her ear, his thumb grazes her cheek and suddenly everything comes back into focus for her.
“You’re asleep right now, right?”

(Thinking Kamala is asleep during one of their classic Kamala-Bruno sleepovers, Bruno makes a confession. Kamala isn’t actually asleep though.)
