Cramped in a booth at Slices, Nini grinning at his side and Big Red across from him looking cautious and hesitant, Ricky knew he wouldn’t be able to bite his tongue much longer. He felt his skin prickle with heat every time Gina’s name was mentioned, indignant on her behalf, even though she wanted nothing to do with him.
Ashlyn and Nini spoke as if they knew her, but they didn’t, at least not the way Ricky did. No one understood Gina the way Ricky did. At least, that’s what Ricky had always thought.
AU in which a revealing double date in spring gives Ricky the chance for a new beginning. But the more things change, the more they stay the same.

Gina is a Daughter of the famous Eric Porter, who had recently passed away, and her step mother Terri Porter has moved her around so much, that she decided to run away. The timeline for this is when Gina is 12 and Ricky is 13. This will be a big series with them basically going through their life in camp, and if you have watched all the seasons of HSMTMTS, then you will know whats going to happen, though its a bit out of order.
