Summary
On the night of her family's Christmas Eve party, Ragatha's beloved Godfather Kinger gives her a wooden nutcracker as a gift, and she loves him immediately. But she soon finds out her nutcracker is actually a prince with a curse put on him that he has to work towards breaking. When the same magic shrinks her down to his size and turns her into a rag doll, she has to go back to the nutcracker prince's kingdom to find a way to break both of their curses. It would be a lot more tolerable if her nutcracker wasn't such a huge jerk!

Finally, Kit, who opened her gift with great emotion only to find a rather unusual wooden nutcracker, was not the typical soldier in red uniform, blue eyes and mustache, this nutcracker, or rather a she, was a tanned skin soldier full of freckles, with brown eyes, a dark green uniform and reddish curly hair, like the incessant fire in the hearth that warmed the whole house.
The smile that adorned Kit's face was erased instantly when she realized that was it, a wooden doll that was good for nothing more than cracking nuts. "It can't be," she complained. "Elora has a music box with a beautiful ballerina just like she likes," she pointed out, "Airk has Dad's ball gown and he left me a doll!" that cracks nuts... I don't even like nuts! She shouted, as she threw the nutcracker to the ground, breaking one of her arms.

Por último, Kit, la cual abrió su regalo con mucha emoción solo para encontrarse con un cascanueces de madera bastante inusual, no era el típico soldado de uniforme rojo, ojos azules y bigote, este cascanueces, o mejor dicho esta, era una soldada de piel bronceada repleta de pecas, con ojos marrones, un uniforme verde oscuro y pelo rizado rojizo, como el incesante fuego del hogar que calentaba toda la casa.
La sonrisa que adornaba el rostro de Kit se borró al instante que noto que eso era todo, una muñeca de madera que no servía para nada más que romper nueces. —No puede ser —se quejó —Elora tiene una caja de música con una hermosa bailarina tal como a ella le gusta —señalo —Airk tiene el traje de gala de papá y a mí me dejo una muñeca! que rompe nueces... ¡Ni siquiera me gustan las nueces! —gritó, al mismo tiempo que arrojaba la cascanueces al suelo, rompiendo uno de sus brazos.
