Summary
Steve can’t stop thinking about Eddie. Or talking about him. Or looking at him. Robin helps, but Steve is a disaster.
~Eddie slides across the seat, pressing against Steve’s shoulder, “Getting a little twitchy there, Harrington,” he whispers, soft curls brushing lightly against Steve’s neck, “This getting you all hot and bothered?”
Steve should push him away, tell him to fuck off, do something that normal guy friends would do. Instead he finds himself caught in that mesmerizing dark gaze, paralyzed. Eddie blinks, teasing smile fading slightly and Steve’s gaze drifts to the other man’s mouth. Fuck. His lips are a little shiny, like he just had a sip of beer. Steve wants to lick it off of him.~

Summary
Steve has been ignoring his own problems, he’s been busy. They’ve all been busy, preoccupied with fixing everything that was broken. Vecna has been defeated, but the Upside Down is still there, and the gates are not completely closed even though Hawkins has almost returned to normal. It’s been a couple of months and the aftereffects of Steve’s encounter with the demobats is about to come back to bite him. However, it also brings some unexpected hope.

When a madman with superpowers makes a mistake, it’s always catastrophic.
Henry Creel’s first was underestimating Eleven. His second is targeting Steve Harrington when the Party enter the Upside Down to make a final stand.
Under Vecna’s assault, a wall in Steve’s mind cracks, exposing a secret he never knew he carried; one that could turn the tide against Creel and his monsters.
Now Steve must gather the shards of himself and do what needs to be done. If he succeeds, it may be the edge Eleven needs to end this once and for all. If he fails, the fallout won’t stop with him.
