Eugene.
Kyle never saw him like that before.
He was scared, too scared. It was obvious from his face expression, that made him look so defenseless. His clothes were torn off, half of his face was covered by blood. His one eyelid had injured, the other was narrowed with pain. Shoulders were down, one hand on the neck. He was trembling. Kyle wrapped his arms around him, it generally wasn't something he do in the public. Even if he does Eugene would put his best to keep it short but this time Kyle felt that he gave in. He run his bloody hand between Eugene's brown hair. He wanted to calm him down but as his fingers tangled in brown strands realization hit him.
Eugene, his best friend. He was infected.
