You see, Stu Macher is not an idiot, contrary to popular belief. He isn’t. That means he knows what he’s doing.
Billy always considered Stu a “lap dog” of sorts. He certainly obeyed him like one.He agreed with all of Billy’s illegal, frankly psychotic schemes, wagging his tail and looking up to Billy for acknowledgement. If we ignore the fact that Stu was a lot taller than Billy, that explains their whole relationship.
Billy commands, Stu listens, Stu gets a treat.
