yeonjun's head whips around and his eyes narrow. he doesn't have to say anything, because kai immediately turns on his heel and apologizes, giggling to the camera he was holding and continuing in the opposite direction. now, hypothetically he could chase kai and make him apologize, in fact he's really sure the cameras would love it, but maybe he should worry more about his sweats getting tighter.

in hindsight, being the eldest member of one of the worlds most successful kpop boy bands sounds like a lot of pressure. anyone who had to deal with 4 hyperactive boys who could also be described as puppies would be tired too, yeonjun thinks.
and it's not like yeonjun minds taking care of his members when they're down or stressed out, or scolding them when they get a bit too rough and wild. in fact, he loves it.
but sometimes, yeonjun needs to be taken care of too, he just never really expected the youngest of their little covey to be the one to do it

In other words, a hopeless love story of two childhood best friends who didn't realise what it meant to have each other until it was too late; compiled of yearning, loss, forlorn hope, unrequited love, and every tragedy in between.

It was an indirect question, Yeonjun’s way of seeking his approval without having to address him or even spare him a glance, and Beomgyu couldn’t quite decide if he preferred it that way. Regardless, he found himself agreeing.
By the time he'd realised that he was making an irrevocably horrible decision, it was already too late.
In light of their boom in popularity due to a relationship leak via Dispatch a year prior, Beomgyu and Yeonjun are elected as Inkigayo's newest MC's.
There's only one problem. They broke up two months ago.

It’s his first free day in months. He should be snoring in bed, not in the backstreets of Yeoju with his driver, trying to find an address he’s been promising to get to for years.
He used to be so good at keeping promises.

He hasn’t even touched Kai, but he already feels completely out of his depth. “How’re you feeling?” Soobin manages to say, walking slowly over to Kai’s bed.
“Like shit,” Kai whines. “I feel so hot, and my skin’s all prickly, and everything hurts.”
(or: kai goes into heat for the very first time, soobin helps him through it, and things go downhill from there)
