Day of the Dead is nothing special. According to Jurai lore, the dead come back to life for a night. It's a crock of shit, of course; Crow’s pretty sure it was invented by somebody eating the wrong mushroom back in the day. He lived there for thirteen years, so he can testify to that, but everyone loves a good, spooky urban legend.
The ghosts, however, disagree.

Rean is not wringing his hands nervously or pacing the length of his room, seconds away from a crippling anxiety attack because if tonight doesn’t go right, if he scares Crow off, there won’t be a second chance and Rean has a spectacular track record of messing things up.
Still, Rean has survived worse, so he should be able to get through a date without ruining his chances.
The thing is, Crow lights something on fire inside him, something devastating and wonderful and terrifying but also incredible, and it makes Rean feel like he could fight Aidios herself and win.
You make me want to fight God is probably not something he should lead with. Or say out loud. Ever.
