Summary
It was supposed to be a simple mission for Keith and Lance - get in, scout weird underground base, and get out. With the lack of any biological signatures, they’d assumed the base was abandoned and empty.
It wasn’t.
Now Keith was badly injured and could not move on his own, and Lance needed to get him and get out before anything worse can happen - all while avoiding the strange and luminescent creatures that seemed to only exist in the corners of their eyes. At the beginning of season 3, their fight with The Sparrow Academy goes even worse, and they end up being locked up in a cell in their basement. Being cooped up in such a small space is a recipe for disaster. Things are said, feelings are hurt, and Five gets the short end of the stick.

Summary
In typical Five Hargreeves fashion, a drug ring bust with his family turns into a rescue mission, which turns into a complete and utter shitshow. Because, of course, things had to go sideways— No, scratch that. Things didn't just go sideways, things went upside down, backward, and inside out. And then got blown up. Literally.
In the aftermath of the whole fiasco, Five is left reeling, floundering, drowning in guilt.
Because how could he have done that?

Summary
A plan took shape in Five’s mind.
It wasn’t one he particularly liked, and it would be unequivocally humiliating, but with the Commission coming and their powers shot to hell for the foreseeable future, Five couldn’t think of any other option.
Didn’t change the fact that he despised crying.

Five pretends to cry to get an enemy to lower their guard—emphasis on “pretend.”His siblings don’t catch on. After getting over their shock, they become unnecessarily distressed and proceed to flutter around Five like neurotic chickens.
Oh, and some people die, but that was kind of the plan all along.

Summary
After they get back from the 60's, Five starts investigating a string of suspicious murders while distancing himself from a family he's convinced he's already lost.
So, naturally, Klaus and Diego join him."Holy shit, Five," Diego says, rushing forward. "What the hell happened to you?"
Five is off-balanced by the sight of Diego. Shouldn’t he be at the other address? What is he doing here?
Klaus appears on the other side of Diego and lets out a laugh that sounds almost frantic. "Oh, thank God you can see him, too.”
“Why are you here?” Five says.
