Summary
Namjoon made his way to the kitchen, craving some tea now more than ever. Every time it would rain, he would sit on the couch and drink some tea with… He wasn’t sure he wanted tea anymore. He opted for coffee instead, moving to the cupboard to grab a mug. The sight of the matching ceramic pieces stabbed his heart oncemore. He couldn’t look for too long. Grabbing a random cup, he willed himself not to think about how every corner of this house screamed broken memories. It consumed him, suffocated him. There was a reminder at every turn.
His being alone now was his fault, no matter how he looked at it. He was the cause of their beginning and their end. But still, he missed the love and care he was given, missed the dates, the languid kisses shared, the smiles, the laughs, cuddling, and hugging; he craved the feeling of it all like a madman. Even now, he struggled to come to terms with it.
He lost the love of his life.

Yoongi pulled away as if burned. He backed up until he hit the broken doorframe. His eyes were wide, his breath erratic. The knife Jeongguk had taken from the hallway was now in his hands. He didn’t even remember how he got it there.

“Why?”

“This is a bad idea,” Taehyung feels the need to say it out loud. It seems like they both need to hear it. “You know that, right?”
“Oh, it’s one hundred percent a bad idea,” Jungkook grins, extending his hand. “But you said it yourself, I owe you for the pants.”
They shake hands again, like they’re concluding some sort of twisted business deal.
“You’re something, aren’t you?”
Who else would agree to this?
“I am, and you haven’t even seen half of it.”
“I’m not sure if I should be intimidated or excited,” Taehyung admits, ignoring the adrenaline that’s pushing in his body at the thought.
“Definitely both,” Jungkook responds. “See you in Jeju, hyung.”

Or a story where Jeon Jungkook, Head Alpha of the Moonflower Pack and recently appointed Watcher of the North, goes on what is supposed to be a routine diplomatic visit only to discover a pack run by an alpha who considers betas curses, pups nuisances, and omegas slaves. And what starts as a diplomatic visit suddenly becomes an unauthorized raid.
