Summary
One brother runs from his past while the other one tries to find meaning in it.
What do you do when everyone thinks your crazy? What about when you believe it, too?
Kíli has had these memories since he was very young. Memories of a time when dragons weren't fairy tale of legend and dwarves walked Middle Earth with humans. He remembers everything of a life so far in the past, it's believed to be nothing more than fantasy. In this life, he is nothing more than a struggling college student - no family, no money, nothing but his memories and the label of being a "schizophrenic". He hides what he knows to be truth, acting the part of being happy when in reality he's anything but. Separated from family, he's been able to hide his... "urges" with little hardship.
But what is he going to do when he is found by none other than his brother, the one who haunts him most?

Summary
Kíli never knew Fíli felt such strong aversion to this quest. He knew he had been a little depressed and quiet lately, but figured it to be nerves. Words are spoken, feelings are hurt, and then there is nothing but silence. It isn't until the final battle that Fíli truly regrets his words. Regrets his treatment of his brother. Just as he is losing him.

Summary
Michael is pretty sure that his soulmate is a complete and utter moron. If it's not a bruise that he's waking up with, it's a headache and the feeling of his face being smashed in. He really cannot understand how one person can get hurt so many times and in so many different ways.
But then he meets Gavin Free.
At first, he tries to keep to himself about it. After all, he doesn't see a point in telling him -- while he thinks the soulmate thing is interesting, he makes his own destiny. He isn't going to base his love life off a few cuts and bruises.
But that all changed very, very quickly when the slash marks started appearing on his arm.
