Something painful and indescribable crosses over Pedri’s face when he shakes his head. “I can’t, Gavi. We really shouldn’t do this, you know that.”
“Yeah, sure,” Gavi agrees, trying to keep his voice from cracking. He quickly runs a hand through his hair, and pushes himself off the sofa. He knows he’s practically shoving Pedri out the door at that point, but he can’t help it. “Have fun in Tenerife.”
(Or, Gavi goes to Ibiza and hoes around, Pedri is jealous and wants to run away from his feelings, Gavi tries poking at that jealousy just to get Pedri to commit to something, they're both miserable, and everyone thinks an actual conversation would solve all their problems.)
