Aizen immediately sees the potential this stranger has, and cannot wait to exploit it by becoming "friends", though... that was the initial idea...

His eyes shifted to Ukitake’s frowning face, and nodded.
Ukitake’s eyes widened, but Mugetsu wasn’t finished, “I can’t believe I’m saying this, but as Tosen says, I believe Sousuke is able to create a better world, I believe this path will lead to reformation with less bloodshed.”
Aizen has Mugetsu wrapped around his finger, and with one of the most powerful beings on his side, will Soul Society stand a chance?
