"I want my eye sockets to grow teeth so I can chew on the world for hours like it’s gum and swallow it down and not give a shit about the screams" is one of the rawest fucking sentences i have ever read and this makes it into the list for this sentence alone (but also for everything else). this is the sort of story that will leave you with your eyes and mind wide open

i shouldn't be surprised by how much i like this, since misty is my favourite fic author, but i am. i absolutely loved it— it's short enough to be read in one night but long enough that you don't feel any detail is missing. it's such a well written exploration of both jackie and hyde's relationship to love, themselves, and each other, and is so true to canon despite the added touch of magic (one of misty's specialties— just read her fic hyde's long way home)
