She cracks open one eye to watch as Jisu drains the rest of her drink, which is mostly melted ice at this point. She can’t quite place Jisu’s tone, which should be lighthearted but comes off as something else. “What do you mean by that?”
“Oppa loves mean,” Jisu says, “so you need to stop being mean to him, or else he’ll fall in love with you.”
Ah, that’s Jisu’s half-joking voice. She’s not blind—she knows her brother and she knows Minhee.
Minhee’s not offended by being called mean; she knows what Jisu is saying. She’s got a resting bitch face and a no-bullshit attitude—but also an insatiable need to mess with people. It’s offputting for those who don’t know her, but charming to those who do. She knows that. Jisu knows that.
Chan knows that. Minhee has always suspected that he likes that about her.
What Jisu doesn’t know is that it might be a little late for Minhee to change that.
Minhee's been texting her best friend's brother in secret for years now. It's all fun and games until he comes to town.

“No,” is Seungmin’s immediate response.
Hyunjin sighs, “Come on, Minnie. You love Minho, you’ll become friends with Felix, too.”
“First of all I do not love Minho, I tolerate him because he’s always been there,” Seungmin insists.
“You growl at everyone that looks at him for longer than a few seconds,” Jisung counters, voice monotone and annoying.
“That’s because he’s mine, not because I love him. Those two things are not the same,” Seungmin explains with an eyeroll. This isn’t even the first time they had this exact conversation, but the intricacies and complexities of a dog hybrid's emotional life seem lost on his two stupid humans.
There's a new kitten in the neighbourhood and Doberman hybrid Seungmin has to learn to deal with it.
