“I recognize you from Terminal D,” Kazuha said. “You were scheduled for that flight too, weren’t you? You’re the one who couldn’t stop shouting obscenities.”
Scara exhaled, smoke clouding his face. His lips quirked up in a sour smirk. “Congratulations on having a memory.”
“Would you like to join us?”
“Kazuha—“ Tighnari started to protest, but Scara was too fast.
“Ohhh, that’s so kind of you! Of course I’ll take you up on your generous offer!” Scara said.
He plunged his joint into the sidewalk and twisted once, then stood and approached the nearby trashcan to flick the rest of the perfectly good end in the garbage. He didn’t need that now — he’d found a new stress ball to abuse.
