Summary
Henry's forge was a source of pride--and for a boy from Skalitz who'd lost everything and had survived thus far on his own wits and the goodwill of others, it was more than well-founded. It had taken him just a couple of weeks to get it back up and running, and now he had something to show for all his hard work, he was eager to share it with his nearest and dearest. Recently, that position had been firmly taken up by one Hans Capon, whose noble birth and pretentious airs had done little to dissuade Henry from dragging him into every situation a man of his station should avoid.
So acquiring a forge couldn't be too much of a deviation from their particular brand of normal, could it?

Henry is eager to show off his new forge to Hans. Hans is less than pleased about his page starting up a business in a city so far from home.

Summary
Manindor may have come to Skyrim with Malborn in the hopes of tracking down the Thalmor responsible for the purge of their village, but it seemed that the gods had different ideas for the two survivors of the inferno.
After sending Malborn to Morrowind for his own safety, Manindor found himself alone and tasked with tracking the guilty Thalmor down in Skyrim, the country of his quarry's most recent posting. Given the secrecy of the organisation, it was not going to be easy.
It was a good thing Solstheim had such excellent mercenaries for hire.

Summary
It was getting harder and harder to resist her. Every fibre of his being was aching to take his lover by the hand and lead her up to her bedchamber—the one that had once been his—and lay her down on the soft bed where he could make love to her all morning. It was so clear in his mind; the angles he would take with his hips, the spill of her charcoal-black hair on white sheets, the shape of her mouth as she cried out her pleasure… He was in deep trouble, and he knew it.

Summary
Love is a complicated compulsion.
Delaying the wedding has come to an end. And yet, Henry and Hans find themselves still seized within the grasp of an affair neither can willingly let go of, in spite of duty and birthright.
In the briefest of moments stolen away from a company meant to deliver the young lord to Kunstadt for his wedding, Henry prays desperately for a way to stay with Hans.
God is not the one to hear his prayers, however.
Instead, a familiar auntie with a scythe crosses paths with the Skalitz boy again, bearing knowledge too heavy for him to take and an exchange too tempting not to.
History must still play out a certain way. Lord Capon needs an heir. Sir Heinrich must exist and go on to be a very capable knight in the future, lest Death's work grow exponentially. Yet Henry doesn't want to lose Sir Hans to a marriage he never wants to come.
Henry and Hans soon discover that changing fate comes with many costs. Some including alterations to their very bodies.

Summary
Hans pulled the door close behind him and lingered under the shelter the small balcony offered, arms folded tight against the chill, his expression caught between suspicion and amusement.
“Has it happened? Have you finally lost your mind?”
Henry turned around, rain already dripping from his lashes, hair plastered to his face. Instead of answering, he bowed low and swept an arm out in invitation.
“May I have this dance, Sir Hans?”
Hans stared at him, rain beginning to speckle his shoulders.
“I thought we weren’t supposed to.”
Henry tilted his head. “Who’s going to see? The horses?”
Hans gave a soft snort but didn’t move.
“Afraid I’m the better dancer, my lord?”

Summary
After the siege of Suchdol, Henry, Hans, and their allies returned to The Devil’s Den for some much-needed rest. It had been too long since any of them had had a moment to themselves with no missions to complete, no dire stakes to navigate, and no life-or-death decisions to be made.
The Den, however, wasn’t an oasis for everyone. Henry and Hans had barely spoken since they tumbled headfirst across their friendship’s former boundary. And the longer they went without addressing that night, the harder it became to hide the friction between them from their friends. Or themselves.
So Hans proposed a hunting trip to take their minds off things.
Nothing like a little fresh air between a lord and his squire.
