But while people always congratulate him for his incredible job, perfect family, and gentle personality, at 21 years old, he was starving to feel love for someone; to understand this feeling that seems to make everyone around him shine so brightly—so differently.
When he finally felt it though, he didn't know if he should cry or laugh about the absurdity of the situation. Maybe falling in love was not this beautiful when it was for a stupid and sarcastic Yuri Lowell, all flowers and shades of black as he offered him a bouquet of sunflowers like it meant nothing.
Maybe it was even better, thought Flynn as he watched him from afar in the middle of the crowd, not paying attention to the matching rings glowing under the light of the moon, cheers exploded all around them like fireworks. Maybe their vows were not as beautiful as this; as him. -

Post parade of Providence are always yummy, but this one is incredible - poor Kaveh who is making knots in his head seeing that Haitham is absolutely not the selfish man he wanted to believe he was, and their relationship evolved in a real beautiful way - the domestic slow burn is delicious. Haitham's characterization in this fic (and the other works of the same author) is my favourite of all fics

An incredible work full of pining and domesticity, of carefulness and softness. This is really well written and you really can feel the scene you're reading. I love Sherlock in this one too, the S3 Sherlock Holmes that had learn he can love and is hesitant about it. Excellent work for winter and cold nights
