The MSBY Black Jackals were vacationing on an island when lockdown measures were put in place due to a pandemic. While the rest of their teammates managed to get on the last flight back to Japan, Kiyoomi and Atsumu didn't make it.
To be stuck in close quarters with your enemy-slash-teammate in a foreign country for an indefinite period of time...it shouldn’t be too bad, right?

Kiyoomi volunteers because he has to, he's been to a training academy, his father is a famous politician who might win the next election to be the president of Panem.
But also... Death would be a very convenient escape from a life at the Capitol he does not want.Atsumu volunteers for his brother, so he has a strong will to win the whole thing and come back to his family.
But... even though he has trained on his own, he can't see himself killing anyone, even if he knows he won't win that way.Why shouldn't they work together when they just met? One kills, the other protects, right? It's perfect!
Well, no one is more devastated than them by the fact they both can't make it back.
