Summary
Speaking of living things, the jester pondered, from overhead a raven could be seen. It flew gracefully through the air, casting a small shadow down below it. That was the freedom that Nikolai had wished so dearly for. Yes, that was the reason for which he stole, killed, and committed unspeakable sin for. Yes, such was the reason Fyodor died, his Dos-kun, his Dostoy, his beloved Fedya.
Yet, almost like a cruel joke, he was still denied the freedom that he sacrificed all that for. His chains only grew heavier after Mersault, the locks on his cage redoubled. The trap that was the human condition only grew tighter then, weighing the jester down with grief and regret.

Summary
Tick tock. Time was running out, as evidenced by the clock mounted on the wall opposite him. I wonder how long until I start feeling the effects of the poison, he mused. Fyodor stood up and started pacing, hoping the movement would provide some sort of distraction from the thoughts swirling endlessly in his head.
"Ah!" Nikolai smiled and clapped his hands while standing up. "Are you going to get going now?"
"I'm not going anywhere." he replied, his voice firm.
"What do you mean, you're not going anywhere?" Nikolai asked, puzzled.
"I'm saying that I choose you, Kolya." He whispered, letting the affectionate nickname slip out.

"Nikolai?" Then came a soft yet hurried voice, calling out his name from outside the door. "Nikolai!" the voice screamed again, this time harsher, more worried. "Nikolai, I'm coming in. Oh my god... NIKOLAI. NIKOLAI, YOU'RE BLEEDING." Evidently, the door wasn't locked. Huh... the clown thought he locked the door before coming in. But maybe not. At this point, what was real? Haaaa... look at the blood. It started to form a halo around him, a crimson pool. He wondered if the blood could go back in.
A dark haired man came running in a moment later, his cloak flapping around his ankles in an urgent dance.
And that was all.

Jouno pushed open the door to Tecchou's room to find the brunette a few feet from the doorway, standing quite still. "Jouno?" he asked, taking a few steps towards him. "Are you alright?"
"I forgot about the fucking fireworks." Jouno snapped back, reaching out for his partner. "I don't know where my headphones are-" he started by way of explanation, but Tecchou took the former's hand and simply led him to the bed. "I get it- do you want to stay here for the night?"
"No, I just came here to wake you up- of course I want to stay the night, you oaf."

"Do you really think that little of me??" Feng Xin objected, slightly irked. "I wouldn't do that..."
"Oh, really?"
