    Michael beams. “I made a couple of spaceships, no big deal.”

    “Holy shit, wow, that exists now?” You marvel, your spoon full of food stopping mid-air.

    Michael's smile drops. “Not really. Kinda an adjustment to realize your reality was nothing more than some creative project.”

    “Oh,” you say, wincing. Michael awkwardly mixes his coffee, and you take a few more bites, trying not to choke on the silence.

    “You know, he never does that,” Michael says.

    “Who never does what?” You ask.

    “Dark.” Michael fiddles with his rocketship pin. “Murdock and I are the newest guys before you, only been here a couple of years, but I’ve only seen Dark be around all of us when something important is happening or he’s angry. We were all shocked he came to dinner last night.”

    “Really? Isn’t he supposed to be your leader?” You ask, a little surprised.

    “Not really. He just takes care of us. Makes sure there’s food in the fridge, The Manor behaves for us, and protects us from Mark,” Michael says, stirring his coffee again.

    Your head starts to hurt. “Who’s Mark?”

    Lloyd was getting pretty sick and tired of getting kidnapped by snakes and evil scientists and nindroid armies, let alone all three at once. The only way it could be worse was adding his dad, a time machine, or a ghost.

    Way to jinx it.

     

    Morro was perfectly miserable suffering through his afterlife in the Departed Realm, avoiding sage life lessons from the annoyingly persistent Sensei G. He was not expecting to be resurrected by a crazy mad scientist set on taking over all sixteen realms. He was even less prepared to face the green ninja - Lloyd - again, injured and imprisoned.

    So, he has a choice to make. Help the good doctor burn Ninjago to the ground, or do something crazy and stupid.

    FSM, Garmadon must be rubbing off on him.

    (OR An evil scientist is dead set on ressurecting all of the ninja’s greatest enemies and happens to choose the most “fuck authority” one first. Lloyd wonders what his life has come to. The ninja have several heart attacks. Morro does his best.)
