“No, but trust me, he’s at a different grave everyday,” Sirius waves as the man turns his head, Regulus notices him clutching a handkerchief tightly, he waves back. Regulus’ breath catches in his throat at the implication. “He can’t get enough of it.”
Regulus stares at Sirius. Sirius lowly asks, “what?”
“You come here everyday?” Regulus doesn’t know whether he should laugh or cry, his heart aches and he has to lean against his cane even more to not crumble and break more than he already has. His brother. His lovely brother. Always his brother.
OR
Regulus Black is in hiding ever since he nearly died (known as dead to everyone else). At the graveyard, his brother strikes a conversation with him. Or rather, 'Leo' with the body of Xenophilius Lovegood.

Summary
Sirius is imagining a billion things - James, bleeding and hurt. Someone in their living room. Whatever terrible things there could possibly be, they all run through his head so quickly one after another it's almost all at once.

Is Regulus. Regulus, bleeding and hurt, heaving and gasping with hands shaking against James' chest and arms, laid sideways against his chest as if --
As if it's familiar, really.

Regulus shows up at the Potters' house bleeding and hurt, which reveals something about James' relationship with him to Sirius.
Sirius has a hard time accepting many things, from Regulus being here to him and James being a thing.
Horrible truths are discovered, and in the end, Sirius could never really let go of caring for Regulus, even when he tried so hard to.
