Summary
On screen, Kim Dokja looks at the floating countdown. I didn't get to die today and suddenly I'm in TWSA. In a cabin which story was never told in the novel. The novel that ended today, but never truly reached the end. I want to read, Kim Dokja thinks feverishly. I want to read the end. And to do that, I'm going to have to survive.
In the present, Kim Dokja was yanked up by the collar and faced the protagonist. It didn't even occur to Kim Dokja to get away himself, resigned to his fate. His head feels like it was stuffed with cotton, as if he breathed some sort of thought-annihilating mental miasma. The incoming violence was bound to happen.
"Tell me the truth."
Kim Dokja's eyes flew open. He had closed them with the expectation of getting his face caved in, not a question.

An ORV reaction fic where Dokja's suicidal ideation is a bit more obvious from Day 0. Kimcom, who had been whisked away into this space after the destruction of the Absolute Throne, watches Kim Dokja's past and realizes that he had intended to die during that fateful subway ride.
