“Of my sister?” Kara replies curtly, pushing her bag onto the compartment again—with success, this time. She turns to give Lena a flatly irritated look. “Yes. I am.”
Lena nods, sardonically amused. “What are the odds?”
Kara rolls her eyes. “I don’t think there are thousands of flights headed to Sydney every day,” she says, sticking her hands in the pockets of her sweatpants.
“Oh, but there kind of are,” Lena pushes on, each word dripping with more and more smooth condescension. “There’s American, Qantas, Qantas through Dubai, codeshares. Just our luck, I suppose.”
“Right,” Kara answers flatly, pulling her hands out to cross her arms tight. “How blessed are we.”

By a lovely happenstance, Kara shares an electric first date with a beautiful stranger she meets at a coffee shop—but, the morning after, their firey chemistry turns ice-cold. Post 5x13
Following the 100th episode of Supergirl, Metallo Lena crosses universes and ends up at LuthorCorp, set on getting her revenge on Supergirl. Kara not only has to deal with someone trying to kill her again, she also has to explain to her best friend why and how her carbon-copy is walking around LuthorCorp, and has to keep her sister from actually killing the Other Lena.
And why is it easier to talk to the Other Lena who wants to kill her than it is to talk to her actual best friend?
Or,
Evil Lena ends up in National City and Kara can't seem to stay away from her. Her Lena isn't too pleased.

When National City's Most Annoying Villain seems to need more help than policing, Supergirl's moral compass is really spinning in all directions. At least she has her totally innocent best friend Lena, who has never done anything wrong in her life, ever, and who Kara is most definitely not in love with.
