Summary
“So getting divorced costs like...” Jisung’s face scrunches up as he does the math, his nose wrinkling adorably, “hundred-forty times more than getting married? That’s insane. That’s a scam. Someone should investigate.”
They sit in silence, both staring at the unsigned papers. Someone drops a cup at the counter, the crash startling several patrons. Outside, rain starts pattering against the window, drops racing each other down the glass.
“What if,” Jisung says slowly, carefully, like he’s testing out how the words sound, rolling them around in his mouth, “we just... don’t get divorced right now?”
Or: The five-day marriage that lasted five years (and counting).

Minho is uncharacteristically jubilant and waltzes down to Chan with the bucket in hand. “Chan! Look at this fish!”
Chan looks at him with equal parts concern and shock. “What the fuck Minho? Put it back?”
Minho looks like an arrow has shot him through the heart. “No!”
“Why not?” Chan queries, despair written on his features.
“It… I just need to look after it. I can’t tell you why I know this,” Minho tries to explain. “I just… need to.”
Chan chuckles disbelievingly, motioning to Minho to get in the car. “Alright, you weirdo.”
(OR: A SKZ Ponyo retelling! When Minho finds a trapped goldfish the pair quickly grow attached to one another. Little does he know that this fish may just turn into the boy of his dreams...)

Summary
Minho seems to realize the same moment Jisung does that they are both hard. And close enough to feel it.
He freezes. Jisung feels it, Minho's body locking under his gentle hands. He pulls back just enough to whisper, still dazed, "Hyung…"
"No," Minho says, voice hoarse. "We can't."
Jisung blinks. "Why not?"
Minho's eyes are wide, pupils blown, mouth still parted like he's stunned by his own reaction. He looks wrecked. Wrecked and absolutely terrified.
"We just can't," Minho says again. Harsher this time. Like saying it harder might make it more true.
Or: Jisung is a college student entering his master's. Minho is his best friend's Felix's older, divorced brother. It's summer.
