Gwyn turned her head, “in what way?”
“Well, in this book I’m reading the male lead is turned on by having conversations about what he and the female character do during sex before they start.”
“Really?” Gwyn tried to picture what it would be like to have someone want to talk to her about her triggers, pictured someone patient enough to have a conversation with her about what she wanted. “But that’s probably just a fictional thing though, right? Taking a fortifying breath, Gwyn decides just out with it. She’s never been the type to beat around the bush or shy away from things, so she won’t start now. She meets his expectant gaze.
“Azriel, you know my history.” His eyebrow quirks slightly.

“And you’ve been training me now for a long time.” He nods, encouraging her to continue.
“I trust you.” His eyebrows raise and he swallows.
“That’s good, Gwyn.” His voice is soft. His eyes jump between each of hers, and his shadows vibrate anxiously, not used to be being a step behind.
“I’ve decided that I’m ready to learn about the ways of intimacy. And I want you to be the one to teach me.”
