Summary
It’s a white flag. Tatsumi pulling off one of HiMERU’s layers, dismantling him and managing to crack one of the carefully assembled walls he’s built up around himself. It’s a hairline fracture, nearly imperceptible to the naked eye, nonetheless, still there. Tatsumi has the ability to collapse it.
He will lift it in due time.

Summary
He didn’t react to the sound of the doorbell at first. But the ringing kept continuing, even if HiMERU ignored them— as if the person behind that door knew that someone was in the apartment. Begrudgingly, and annoyed— he got up from the couch, and walked to the door, unlocking it, wondering who was so hell-bent on bothering him in the dead of night.
The door opened, revealing Tatsumi, and HiMERU’s first instinct was to slam the door in his face.

Summary
Even if Niki finding out was beyond logic, Rinne wasn’t willing to bet on his luck. No matter how much he tried to visualize it, there was no predicting the entirely hypothetical event of Niki learning the truth.
As long as Niki is fed and happy, Rinne is doing his part.
