    This is a short, horribly cluttered, out of character, messy fic partly inspired by my experiences with family. It's probably beyond fixing but I spent too dang long working on this to just throw it away.

    I am amazed that so many of you wonderful friends liked this piece enough to share it. I logged off of this site (and many others) quite a while ago and haven't really come back. I just kind of forgot about it. And then I was scrolling my feed and saw a beautiful, glorious comic rendition of this fic by Tumblr user r0b0t1me. It hit me completely by surprise, and it was EXACTLY how I imagined while writing it. Please go support them!
