Raphael Stewart looked up, a visible flash of fear washing over his face as the rest of the BAU emerged from behind the hill, guns trained on him but too far to hit an accurate shot. With only a moment's certainty, the man swung his gun up at the FBI agent opposite him.
The gunshot echoed against the hills as JJ screamed.

Rio pulls her mouth back only to press it back under her jaw. A wolf would be less aware of a rabbit’s pulse, Agatha thinks, her body jolting as Rio bites there, teeth bruising a mark into her skin that no Puritanical collar will hide.

Rio flashes her bloody teeth at Agatha. She slowly looks down the length of Agatha, face caked with dirt, sweat on her neck, mud on her shirt. Her chest is heaving under Rio’s grip, rising and falling. Rio looks back up at Agatha’s face.
“Yeah, baby,” she says in a low voice, “I want a body.”
Agatha scoffs as much as one can scoff when they are pinned to the ground by a spurned lover. Or a lover they spurned. Rio can’t keep track anymore.
