“Summon me a guardian angel? I don’t need a guardian!” Yeonjun thought back to the day when he almost got kidnapped, and the day he avoided getting stabbed with just a few centimeters, and added, “okay maybe I do need a guardian, but is it really necessary resorting to magic?”
“Do you have any other idea?” Taehyun asked.
Well, no but Yeonjun was not gonna say that.

Yeonjun doesn’t know how he gets into strange situations all the time - it just happens. He doesn’t mean to get lured into cults and accidentally arrested every other week, or to make his friends have to bail him out all the time. It gets so bad that eventually, his friends get fed up with his bad luck, and in fear for his safety they decide to summon him a guardian angel.
Only, they mess up the spell a little bit, and suddenly Yeonjun is stuck with a demon tied to his side for a month.

Why are you even here? Soobin scowls, using his telepathy to communicate. He glares at the villain, Choi Yeonjun, to get his attention. He discovered his civilian identity when they were caught in the alley (not making out) by his nosy friends, who asked for the name of his new “boo.” Soobin has no idea why Yeonjun decided to play along.
Yeonjun instantly raises an eyebrow after receiving the telepathic message. He probably didn't even know Soobin had this ability until now.
But the villain schools his slightly surprised expression just as quickly and leans back in his chair, sending him a smirk. Free dinner, obviously.

Yeonjun is livid. Now he knows for sure that the psychic from Huening’s Penguin Psychics is a fake, if the questionable business name didn’t already give it away. He should write a bad review on Google to warn others not to waste their time and money. As far as he knows, Soobin has only dated one person: Lee Chaemin, whom Soobin broke up with after he found out he was a manipulative, lying, cheating, worthless piece of trash.
How could Chaemin possibly be Soobin’s one true love? Hueningkai knows nothing and is obviously a scammer.

The stranger looks up and they lock eyes for a solid second. He lowers his voice to quickly report, but Beomgyu can hear him loud and clear. “He knows I’m onto him. He seems extremely desperate and I think he’s going to abduct me.” He abruptly hangs up the phone and takes off in the opposite direction.
Beomgyu chases after him. “Wait!” What did he just get accused of? “This is a misunderstanding!” And why is this guy so fast?
