“I wanted to be exclusive!” Taehyung bursts out, face reddening again, but his eyes are bright, almost wild. Seokjin takes a moment to process.
“But… we’re not dating…?” Seokjin half says half asks, eyebrows furrowing. His heart seizes a bit at the words but he ignores that, focusing instead on the conversation at hand.
“No, I mean like– ” Taehyung huffs in frustration and then takes a deep breath. “Okay, so you know how I can get stupidly jealous at stupid things all the time?”
“Yes,” Seokjin replies immediately, every single one of Taehyung’s harsh glares towards one of their friends as he clung onto Seokjin’s shoulder flashing past his eyes. In fact, it happened so often that Seokjin had pretty much stopped even noticing it.
“Well it’s just that… you know, when Jungkook or Jimin give you gifts or stuff when it’s not your birthday, I just… get a little jealous, you know?”
Seokjin stares.
