    Soobin hears the sigh of relief Yeonjun lets out, feeling the weight on his chest get worse, like a hand pressing down on him. He didn't realise how bad things had gotten, that hearing just a few words from Soobin was enough to take away so much stress from Yeonjun. He's always tried to be as small a burden on Yeonjun as he could be, but he knew it was never enough. He was always too much.

    Yeonjun starts the year by asking for a break, and Soobin learns the hard way that losing his boyfriend meant almost losing his entire world.

    There was that urge, where Sooobin wanted to let Yeonjun know that he was there for him, that he should let go sometimes and go easy on himself and Soobin was able to handle some of his burdens he would need to share. That Soobin was more than willing to stay beside him whenever it was, that he was willing to burn the world into ashes and present it under Yeonjun's feet if asked. That, then Soobin would give up everything if it made Yeonjun feel easier, because he was simply in love with Yeonjun.

    Yet then Soobin couldn't possibly let Yeonjun know of such. It would rather be burdening to know that your best friend was in love with you, let alone your coworker that you basically shared half your life with. So, Soobin kept silent, like he was supposed to.

    or

    Soobin, who was in love with his bandmate Yeonjun, was worried that Yeonjun was overworking himself, but he couldn't do anything until Yeonjun seemed to have run away from the dorms.

    Because there's not supposed to be one reason for Yeonjun to wear that tight shirt, highlighting his pecs and the lining of his abs and biceps, even with such an excuse like he just had come from working out, especially not when the weather was jaw dropping-ly freezing. There was something about the way the shirt was cut, pressed right on Yeonjun's muscles, yet the darkness of it contrasted Yeonjun's glistening skin, the very one Soobin was so akin to touch. Maybe, it was not so much special about what Yeonjun was wearing, but since Yeonjun knew what he would look best in, even a simple regular working out shirt and sweatpants.

    Or perhaps, Soobin was simply a pathetic loser, and Soobin had come to terms on it.
