Light hates him.
Which isn’t to say he doesn’t get it, as Ryuk said he would.
Because he does. Obnoxious stage name apart, L has a lower voice, deeper tones just rough enough to keep the signature style that has been stablished for Elphaba through the years. There’s something about his general demeanour too. Something Light had assumed Ryuk was just too stupid to put into words, but that truly is hard for him to put his finger onto.
Which isn’t to say he was better than Light.
They're perfect together though and Light hates himMusical Theatre AU in which L and Light are the lead performers in a Wicked production and do the whole enemies to friends to lovers song and dance.
